    Hi…
I finished the course of Medical billing and am very new with this topic.
I had my patient use the StatDDS sleep monitor at home and she does not have OSA but is a bruxer. Can I still use the code E0486 to bill the medical insurance for an anterior plane appliance or is that a different code? Also, for botulinum Toxin therapy, do I use the code 64615 or J0585?
And last thing, do I put the diagnosis F45.8 code on the claim as well?
Thank you very much for your help

You will need to use Dental codes for a night guard.

The code J0585 for Therapeutic Botox needs to be filed under Medical Insurance , if it is covered in the plan. Also, make sure you have detailed SOAP notes.
